Final Portfolio - Sallie Kate Thompson

 

For my Final Portfolio, I was heavily inspired by Shaylin Wallace. I explored a broad range of topics, exploring self-expression, surrealism, and minimalism. I wanted each piece to feel thoughtful, yet mysterious. I stuck with using mainly blue and orange colors for a cohesive collection of works. I also experimented with different textures and grain for a nostalgic, yet authentic feeling. I thoroughly enjoyed this project as I was able to play around with different ways to lay out each composition with only a small, square layout.
