This is Ashley Legassies portfolio she did her work influenced by David Carson, you can also tell this because it is a similar style to some of his other works. I think the factors that impress me are the way the composite works look like a collage almost and ripped out of pages.
The works embrace digital compositing and use photoshop well. I think all the works are cohesive and you can tell they are by the same person with similar style.
The work is creative without being repetitive, they all work well together and complete each other in their own way.
The work grows from the selected artist and you can tell they are inspired by his work. He has a very unique style that is easily identifiable.
I think the compositing did challenge her and allowed her to use the skills we developed in the classroom, but also the skills she developed in her other classes.
The photoshop technique is appropriate and professional.
Lighting is played with to create some fun looking composite images, there are different depths to give more interest. I think they are effective and done nicely.
You can tell the works are intentionally placed and express different meanings throughout her pieces.
