This piece is about the struggle of not being able to sleep at night due to Insomnia. It really focuses on my constant reliance of caffeine in order to be awake during the day. I wanted the background to be clearly the day, it was taken early in the morning and I am sleeping in the cup, symbolizing my tiredness during the day. I used motion to show the steam from my tea cup in order to really immerse me into the space.
